Medieval: Total War

Well, it's out. Is it worth getting?

 

I haven't played medieval but I have Shogun: Total war and it's pretty damn good. This is an upgrade with more varied units but similar gameplay and more polygons. My guess would be yes, if it's any improvement over Shogun but I'm not 100% certain.

 

I hope they did diplomacy part in Medieval better than in Shogun. That was biggest weakness in Shogun. You could create alliances but they didn't affect anything at all. But anyway I'm waiting Medieval and hoping for the best.

Did you get the Expansion pack? You could get 250 Koku from every alliance you get and your Emisarries can bribe army generals to your side. Also when 2 of your allies go to war,m you have to pick one above the other.

Anyways I'm getting it today so I'll let ya know tomorrow!

I watched in local games store when couple of guys played this game. At least battles looked really nice. Maybe I'll get it as soon as I have again money.
