Mass Meet #1

Hello Foxboroians,

What would you like to do for our first meet?
When?
Discuss.

 

Well since we will be starting a new chapter I offer a get together at my house for the first meet.

We can discuss what we would like for the future of the group. I am sure we all have great ideas for the new group and we can do this in a relaxed and comfortable enviornment.

I can prepare some nice food or we can order out for some pizza and such.

We can also take in a few Star Wars activities.
I can ask my room mate to get a Battlegrounds competition going.
He also has a few other games also, KOTOR, etc.

I also have Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and the always favorite Epic Duels.

We can also take in a viewing of the movies, Original Trilogy VHS style of course.
Or the dreaded Star Wars Holiday Special.

We could go out also there is a movie theatre nearby.

Just a few ideas , let me know how this sounds.

EDIT: Forgot the sick face after the mention of the Holiday Special.

 

The Star Wars Holiday Special wasn't that bad.
Some people find Bea Arthur rather attractive.

Count me in for the Meet.

 

Haha, I've never seen the Holiday Special. Maybe I can have the same circumstances as when I watched Spider-man for the first time! I had to hold on to the earth so I didn't fall off.

 

Now we just to decide when?

What do you guys say...remember I will need a little time to get the place ready if the meet is at my house.

 

Any weekend after this one sounds good.
I'm going to NYC this weekend with the lady.

 

This weekend is bad for me as well. I'm planning on going to the Con in November so maybe we can talk about it then.

 

I suppose I could bring my X-Box down for a little Battlefront action. To bad KoToR isn't 2 players.

 

I would definately be interested in joining the meet, but I wouldn't be able to commit to anything just yet. So if I can make it I will be there.

 

How about the first weekend in December for our first meet?

The con is coming up and then you got Thangsgiving the next week..alot going on this month.

Lets set the record straight, The Holiday Special is the sum of all nightmares and evil in this world, X10.
The boba fett cartoon is cool though, even though i'm not quite sure about the 7th grade science style tuning fork and a purple loch ness monster

I'll attend the first meet, on December 5th. I'll either need a ride (from Scott), or need to get picked up from the Commuter Rail.. and directions.

 

Sunday the 5th is good for me.

 

I'll be there as well. Send me a PM Tony and we'll work out something to get you there.

I'm not sure if I'm going to go to the Con after all this weekend.I have a chance to go to the Patriots game in Kansas City on Monday.I have to decide if I want to pay to fly out there or do the Con.

 

I'll bring my camera to document the meet.

 

As far as our first meet coming up this Sunday December 5th, I will need to confirm who is coming. So please post here and confirm please. I need to let the Meriwyn or Strawbary know the needed details of the meet. If you are bringing anything please also post that also.
Please confirm this ASAP so I can have everything locked down by this Friday.
I was looking to start the meet at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday so there is no rush to get up too early on Sunday.
Let me know if everyone is alright with the time.
