Well for the bit that we were there for, me n Brett had a fabbo time!

I haven't played that much pool for ages (and lost each time no less! thanks for balancing us out Dags) ... And it was much fun seeing several people get rather tipsy.. hehehe. If only I hadn't been designated driver I coulda joined in a bit more on the alcohol consumption!! Dammit!

Oh, and I have two words for you all, re. the lovely Queenslanderan's visit:

And she won't read that until she comes back in several weeks! By which time I shall be far away and out of slapping reach! muahahaha!!

Sounds like you guys had a good time. If only I hadn't had to be up at 5am Sunday I would have definetely made an appearence and had a drink or ten.

Yeah, as far as I know... She got into her taxi at 6:30 and her plane was supposed to leave at 9, so I'm guessing it all went ok from there on.

My game was pretty good for the first 4 odd games, but after that, it all went downhill quickly. I think it happened after we beat those two posers that challenged us. They never stood a chance, we psyched them out right from the beginning

Btw, did anyone else note that they were trying to hussle us? They got a dopey looking chick to come up and challenge us for the table, but she never played. Instead it was those two chumps.

 

I had an idea guys...Sil said she was going to be coming back through Sydney, but would only be here for a couple of hours.

Whats say we bombard her with email, PMs, ICQ messages and stuff, and get her to extend it from a few hours to a few days? Shes incommunicado for a week or so, but not for the whole time she is there.

We can rock the Casbah all over again!

Anyways Sat night was cool, it was great to meet you guys and I even caught a few
nicks, which made me feel like I wasn't amongst complete strangers. I'm pretty
sure I remember Jedipaulaw, Shara, Ki, Ternian, Dagsy, Teknobabel.

As for the rest of you...well, only first names but I'm sure I'll see you around here a
bit more from now on
