June 8 @ 7 p.m. Author Aaron Allston will be at Barnes & Noble in Carmel to sign the latest Star Wars hardcover novel. Barnes & Noble 14709 US 31 N Carmel, IN 46032 317-844-2501
I'm going to go have my copy of SW:LOTF:Book 1:Betrayal signed. Anybody else from the E'ville area going?
I would, but the date is bad. That is one of a few days I am in town in between trips elsewhere. I already had Rebel Dream signed by him when I meet him at CII, but having a hardcover to go with my Dave Dorman and Tim Zahn signed books would look better. Nothing against paperbacks, I just like hardcovers to a obsessive-compulsive degree.
Hey that's me! Had a great time at the book signing. Also if you look closely at some of the images of Aaron Allston signing his book you'll see one of a series of illustrations I did. These illustrations were of starships found in Allston's new novel. I gave him this packet of illustrations as a token of my appreciation. Allston stated he really liked them. He particularly took a liking to my concept design for the Galactic Class Battle Carrier used by the Galactic Alliance in his novel. Yeah I know I'm a GEEK, but to be specific I'm a 'Tech/Fleet Junkie'. Soon I'll have some images taken at the event developed. I'll bring them to the book club meeting. By the way Allston's novel is great. Saga changing stuff happens and with further to come in the months and years ahead.
