That's a shame about the Odeon, that was a nice old cinema. Yeah, I've been to the Warner Village too which was nice Trouble with all these modern cinemas is that they lack the aesthetics of their older counterparts. They're just boxes with nothing architecturally interesting about them.

Still, sorry guys I am dragging this way off topic!

 

Not at all TP, that's something I noticed. I find Warner Village very depressing as an architectural entity... very dark and empty.

 

it doesn't have character but it has one enormous screen with THX so in my view it balances out

i know what you mean, they're almost mass produced building, they're are loads of complexes just like it around the country

Well, this sounds like a meet! We can research the location in the central library opposite the Uni, it'll have al the information of the location of bunkers during the war.

i'd have to find some of getting there tho.

 

whilst making my lunch (hmmm burgers) less than 10 minutes ago i brought up this bunker with my mum and she said she knew where it was and used to play around it when she was a kid.
