how is it that one becomes a moderator? iv always wondered.

 

You gotta have connections, man. That's all there is to it.

Post responsibly, follow the terms of service, and have fun. That's about all the advice I can give you.

Of course, if you ask the mods themselves, they'll undoubtedly supply a different answer.

Job: trying to find one after I finish law school (which theoretically is in the next couple of months)

Status: engaged to be married end of August - I wish I could invite all of you (well, most of you).

Religion: Orthodox Christian

Hobbies: soccer, reading (classics, SF, fantasy), SW, movies, music especially. I play guitar and attempt to write pithy songs about the perilous fragility of human existence and love. Check out my bio for bands I like.

Favorite SW character: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Favorite SW movie: hard to say - ESB overall, ROTJ for Jabba's palace, the space battle and the Throne Room. AOTC overall.

I was around before TPM, in late 1998, with another screenname for a while and now I've had this one for ages I think. I forget what the registration date is, lol.

Saturday, August 28th. My stag, of all things, is happening this Saturday. How strange. How exciting.

 

Do inform an uninformed Aussie as to what a "stag" is

 

Uh...stag
1. The adult male of various deer, especially the red deer.
2. An animal, especially a pig, castrated after reaching sexual maturity.
3. A person who attends a social gathering unaccompanied by a partner, especially a man who is unaccompanied by a woman.
4. A social gathering for men only.

#4 is what we're looking at - like the groom's bachelor party, last day to party it up with his friends as a single guy.

Generally involves too much booze, strippers, and being tied naked to a light pole with duct tape.

Hopefully mine won't be like that - we're going paintballing, having a BBQ/drinking, and then going drinking.

BTW, lexu, are you changing the name of our banner to ROTS, or are you leaving it as is?

For the record, I happen to be an American and know what a stag is, and stinky does not happen to know how to login to his own username.

I've updated the banner to say 'Revenge of the Jedi.' Expect it up in a couple days. Sorry it's a bit late, but I've been busy and I lost the original .psd file, so it was tricky.
