The restaurant serves lunch it is not just an ice cream parlor. They serve delicious homemade ice cream.

It is within walking distance from the Massapequa train station.

I would go, but SWNYC has a pre-planned costume making workshop that same day also on Long Island.

I really would love to be at your inagural meeting but I also need to get some sewing tips this Halloween or my daughter will never get that Zam Wessel costume her heart is set on. Oh well maybe next time.

Chris, I understand the fact you are unable to attend. I didn't realize the costuming workshop was being held on that day when I arranged the date. I'll post the minutes after the meeting though. You probably won't be missing anything important. After all it is only the first meeting.

Just to think SWNYC has something going on the same day and it happens to be on LI, go figure. I need to get working on a costume so I will not be able to make the meeting.

Hopefully we can coordinate better for the next meeting so we can come to the meeting and show you some support.

Yeah...sorry babe, I'm gonna be doing the costume thing too. My life has been nothing but scheduling conflicts lately. Anyhow, let us know how it turned out...and how the icecream there is.
