V.C, CA Meeting 13...Where?

Boy, I can tell this is going to be useful. ;~) I may develop an opinion, so I'm not voting yet.

 

For future reference, there is an Applebee's close to my house, so if we eat out by me there is a possibilty of transplanting the VCFF HQ for one meeting.

 

I hereby placy Keiran in charge of locating appropriate eating places near his home. Let's plan on then meeting at his house for follow-up and costuming help/work we might need to do, and well, whatever. :~)

If anyone needs help with their costumes, post pleas here so we can show up with what we need to bring to help out.

 

There is an Applebee's, Chili's, Romano's Macaroni Grill, BJ's Pizza and Brewery (really good), and various sort of, counter service resturaunts along the lines of Baja Fresh and that sort of stuff.

It really all depends on what you guys can't eat, so I can narrow things down.

I would need help with a costume, but just a cloak.

 

What kind of cloak help?

 

I think he is going to make one of the elven cloaks from Lord of the Rings, consdiering he has about six brooches.

I think everything, I forgot whether or not Garrett knows how to sew, but I think he needs help finding fabric and a pattern also.

Hmmmm....a pic of the costume would help greatly on suggesting a pattern to buy. There are several different basic styles of cloaks.

 

And I think I own most of those cloak patterns...

The Arclight in Hollywood sold out in less than 2 minutes. I'm not the Six Million-Dollar Man here, I can't super-speed buy tickets.

 

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I also noticed that they have assigned seating for the other (non-marathon extended edition) showings. Which kind of sucks, because now I have to figure out not only when I want to go, but also with whom. Do you guys have anything in mind?
