I ? Upcoming Events

-Celebration III (Star Wars official con) Indianapolis, IN, Thurs - Sunday, April 21-25 2005 -- Hotel booking has begun. Some logistics were discussed such as getting the AeroSith band gear to Indianapolis in the event we perform at an official event or the FanForce sponsored event. More to be discussed and contact to be made for AeroSith's participation.


-- SW Holiday Special Party #4 -- Discussed possible different locations based on having a TV and VCR for viewing. Ark3 and StarFromIHJ will work out the details and report back on the location. Tentative date is Saturday or Sunday, December 18th or 19th. We will view SW fan films, outtakes, documentaries, etc., and premiere the new AeroSith video.

-- National Con - NY 11/ 19-21. Some members will attend and will meet up on Saturday. A few Star Wars guests will be there.

-- Icon-24 -- April 8-10, 2004 Discussed a fan club table and ideas for club promotion an ICON. Discussed AeroSith being most suited to perform at The Masquerade. More to be discussed at future meetings Peter Mayhew is a guest at ICON.


-- SW Episode III movie release week.(Movie opens on 5/19/2005) Early plans discussed of possible pre-screenings, costumed characters hosting a theater, and attendance at MEPAs "SW day with the Newark (NJ) Bears Baseball team."


II - Fan Force Legal Issues - Discussed Fan Forces policy on minors as club members, attending meeting and events and what legal responsibility the club could expect in the event of bad behavior. DB516 is looking over documents that other fan force clubs have adopted to see if we want it as our policy

III - Meeting # 26 date
Tentative date December 5, 2004. Final plans will be made for the SW Holiday Special #4 party. Meeting location: Broadway Mall in Hicksville


IV - Finances
-- No dues were collected. Will start at the December meeting in preparation for ICON.


V ? DB516 Staff elections
Nominations were made in preparation for the December election. Terms to start on 1/1/05. All the current staff were nominated to hold their same position except for the presidency. Moorglade will not seek a third term. Ark3 was nominated. The Event Coordinator position currently shared by Ken Deep and Ark3 is a shifted term and will continue into 2005. The Charity Coordinator position has been temporarily suspended while Ark3 goes on the campaign trail for the presidency.
