Det, MI Meeting #3 - Saturday, April 13th

Well, the meeting is one week from today, so I thought we ought to have an official thread to give all the details for anyone who might not want to search through all of the previous threads to find it. So here goes:

When? - Saturday, April 13, 2002 at 7:00PM

Where? - the McDonalds on the NE corner of M-59 and Milford Road in Highland.

Why? - To choose our City Rep, discuss plans for CII and the movie opening along with the usual discussion of our raison d'etre.

Then What? - Following the "official" meeting business, we will be retiring to the Secret Rebel Base for SW Trivial Pursuit, various and sundry movies and Pizza and snacks.

Any Questions? - If so, please PM me and I'll give you any additional info you might need like directions, etc.

Well, I hope that covers it. Perhaps a roll call wouldn't be a bad idea? If you are planning to attend, please indicate that in this thread.

What happened to Borders????
McD's is closer still, and I MIGHT be able to make it. I got a house full of little troopers and I need an army to watch'em!!!

 

Since we're a fairly small group right now, we try and rotate the meeting places. That way, no one has to "drive the furthest" every time.

 

This is going to seem more like a party than a meeting.

 

Then a party it shall be...yet I think Mirax will have something to say about it.

 

Are you kidding? I was hoping that everyone would have fun!! If it's a party, I have NO problem with that.

Hey all. I've been gone all weekend, but I'm still alive

I will also be there. Hope to see all the "veterans" along with newcomers. You're all welcome here!

 

Myself and possibly one other Rebel will be attending.

 

I would love to come to this, but this weekend is bad for me. The next one should be alot easier (when ever that is, just been too busy recently).

I'm still looking forward to meeting all of you (so is my wife) in person instead of on the forums.

 

Will there be enough room Mirax? Sounds like the turnout is going to be very good.

BTW, I will be going to CII , but not for the whole thing....I have arranged to be down in Indianapolis (actually champagne Il) for business on the third, so I will be attending Friday night. I'll be flying out Saturday morning, but I am trying to negotiate staying for one more day.

 

Yes, it does sound like quite a crowd we're expecting this time! (Which is just wonderful, imo!) The Secret Rebel Base isn't huge, but we'll make do, right? I'm more worried about McD's now. It's not a really big one. I guess that will inspire us to move the business portion along quickly.
