11:00 AM Official Business - We will be discussing upcoming events, e.g. Star Wars Strike Force Bowling.

12:00 PM General Discussion ? We will be having lunch, a Star Wars related chat, and possibly general discussion.



*Note: This meeting will be the first one presented in our new format. If you wish to attend events only and participate in discussions about Star Wars and other things, e.g., Pirates of The Caribbean, you can choose to attend our general discussion at 12:00 PM. We will continue to post our meeting minutes so those who did not attend the Official Business section of the meeting can still keep up to date on our upcoming events.

As always, new members are always welcome at all of our events!

Location: We meet at Broadway Mall in Hicksville, on the second level in the food court next to the elevator.

Sorry I didn't turn out for it...it was a choice between the meeting and buying groceries, so that wasn't much of a contest. It's gonna be a lot harder for me to attend meetings from now on anyway, now that I live all the way in Jersey; I have to wake up around 7am just to make it to Hicksville in time.

- Friday, Sep 2 - Monday, Sep 5 some memebers attending. AeroSith to perform in two events. No official DB516 presence.

Big Apple Con in Manhattan
- Saturday, Sep 10 - Sunday, Sep 11
- 10 AM to 8 PM possible attendance by some members to be decided that weekend

Multiple DVD Releases and Battlefront 2
- ROTS and Star Wars Box Set (6 movies) November 1, 2005
- Midnight release event possibly at Best Buy Levittown and or Westbury 10/31/05
DB516 wil attend either offcially or unofficially. Dana to check into our official participation.

- Hollywood Video/GameCrazy in Ronkonkoma (saturday after release) DB516 hosting and entertaining. 4-8 PM ,Kenny and Rob Kaos to check into our participation.

-- Fan Film viewing at Belmore Public Library Monday 8/22/05 (7 PM - 9 PM) DB516, and the public invited. Check the message boards for directions.

--One Man Star Wars on Broadway. Planning group attendance. Possibly running on Broadway only until 9/13/05 when he changes to One-Man Lord of the Rings.

- Next meeting on Sunday, September 11 at Montauk Lighthouse 1 PM celebrating DB516s 3rd Anniversary. - Weather permitting. Rain date: Sept 18, 2005

Viewing Party
- Star Wars Holiday Special Viewing Party # 4 now with 100% less Holiday Special
- Hosted by Rob TKAOS planned for late November or December. More to be discussed at future meetings.

Star Wars Bowling
- Some of us are doing the "official" SW bowling
(Dana, Diane and Robbie Paul, Rob TKAOS)
- Dana and Rob TKAOS will coordinate

Halloween Event -- To be determined at future meetings. (Reminder: ROTS DVD release is the next day)

MEPA Cantina 2007 Party - DB516 and AeroSith have volunteered their services.

Katie Report -- Katie Passed away this month. Donations can be made in her name to the Make A Wish Foundation.

DB 516 Fan Film - Rob Tkaos is organizing this. Production positions need to be filled to proceed.

Treasurer's report and voluntary dues collection.

Web Site
Major renovations to the web site have been done by Webmistress Moorglade over the summer.
The yahoo group has been over loaded on starage space from photos. Ark will handle maintence to get it under the limit.
