11:00 AM Official Business - We will be discussing upcoming events and holding our election.

12:00 PM General Discussion ? We will be having lunch, a Star Wars related chat, and possibly general discussion.



*If you wish to attend events only and participate in discussions about Star Wars and other things, e.g., Pirates of The Caribbean, you can choose to attend our general discussion at 12:00 PM. We will continue to post our meeting minutes so those who did not attend the Official Business section of the meeting can still keep up to date on our upcoming events.

As always, new members are always welcome at all of our events!

Location: We meet at Broadway Mall in Hicksville, on the second level in the food court next to the elevator.

---MEPA Trip to Boston Museum of Science Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination - Saturday, December 17 (early morning) - Returning the next day - Renting a large van ? Some of us are going. Deadline for getting in on it has passed.
---One Man Star Wars Costumed Event - Tuesday, December 27 A costuming event just for fun and the opportunity for some of us to finally see the show before it finishes on 12/31/05. So far DB516 has 6 costumers coming. All are invited to join us in costume or not.
--- New York Comic Con at The Javitts Center in NYC February 25, 26 2006 - DB516 will be there as attendees.

---Boy Scouts Event - Meets in Manhattan in the 200s - Probably on Saturday, January 14 - DB 516 may show Clive's presentation on fan films

Club Business
---- Discussions of putting together a club portfolio / press kit. More To be discussed over the winter meetings.
-- Treasurer's report and voluntary dues collection -- Expenses coming: Domain name renewal, ICON fan club table and contest prizes for 2006.

DB516 Elections for 2006 Offices - 14 eligible voters.

--Moorglade (Triss) defeated StarFromIHJ (Dana)(current CR) 9 to 5 for the 2006 City Rep seat.
--Ark3 (Abhay)(current president) defeated The Pariah (Moriah) 14 to 0 for the 2006 presidency
--TheBothanJedi (Dan) was elected as the new Event Coordinater uncontested for 2006.
--Mastersifo-dyas was re-elected uncontested as Secretary of the Treasury.
--Proposal 1 was voted unanimously Yes on: The current webmaster / mistress will not be an elected position. The seat will change only when the DB516 council decides.

Congratulations to the winners and the whole group for working so sell together.
Newly elected officers will start their term on 1/1/06.
