I'm back!

Anyway, I'd like to propose a date/time for our next meeting and get some feedback.

How does Saturday, January 11, lunchtime, at the Applebee's in Camarillo sound?

Post here and we'll set the next meeting!

(Just promise me I won't have to watch Lumpy and co. again until next year!)

And what exactly is lunchtime?

 

Okay, I will wait till I get the time. Los Angeles is having their meeting on the 11th as well, and Orange County is having theirs on the 12th... I have a LOT of posting to do tonight.

 

Lunchtime for me is about 3:00pm. If it's the typical noon lunch time I'll have to set my alarm.

2:00,I usually get up around 1:00 cause my family is sooooo loud and my mother runs the "Grand Centeral Station" 24 seven!

Like five new people have come to our site, so maybe we'll pick up a few new ones.

 

Hey everyone. I was really looking forward to coming to my first meeting, but I can't get a ride out on that day. My mother is going to Las Vegas for the weekend. I might be able to get a ride with my grandparents, so I will keep you all informed. Later.

 

Yeah,maybe I can find someone who's willing to take a long rode trip and drive down there!

Gentle Bant, I'm coming from Thousand Oaks, well, Westlake but it's right there. Also, my mom may have to cancel her trip to Vegas, so I will keep trying with her. However, she may not be so keen on driving me out to Camarillo. God, I need a driver's license.

 

I just finished all my permit and liscence stuff yesterday, so I'll be on the road real soon!

People just do it to act cool.No offence anyone I am fine with whatever way you choose to talk,I've just chosen the mature side!

 

I heartily agree with you Larena (along with no offense to anyone).

 

"Cussing" isn't so bad; it doesn't say anything about a person?s maturity or intelligence. Some people just really over use them. Personally I just do it out of habit... or lack of a better adjective.

 

Actually, I think Keiran was petitioning. :~D

On a side note, I've always been rather bad at cussing....I tried for years to get the hang of it (in junior high), and finally decided it just didn't sound right falling out of my mouth. At least I never have to worry about slipping up when teaching!
