V.C, CA Meeting #4

Wow, I caused quite a debate.

Actually, I used to cuss a lot, but my friends started giving me "therapy" to cure my cussing habits. It really consisted of punching me in the arm whenever I cursed. Needless to say, after a couple days I was cured.

 

That is usually were it starts,jr. high.
The kids talk like that just to be cool.
and if the habit hasn't over powered you than you just seem to stop in high school cause I hear more jr. highers on the bus saying bad crud than the high schoolers!

 

Wait, you have Jr. High kids on the same bus as the High Schoolers?

 

Ugh, I can only imagine the kids from my Jr. High on my bus every day. :{

 

Well Cascade High school is right next to Cascade jr. high and since There is the same amount of jr. highers as high schoolers on one bus rout they just save gas and use one bus!

 

I have never been on a school bus. No school I've ever gone too has been rich enough to get busses.

The kids at my school are crrrrazzzzy. Interesting to be around.

 

Just wanted to say I talked to Kai and he's in for this weekend. What's the headcount up to?

Keiran any word on getting a ride?

Keiran, I'm in Newbury Park. If you can get a ride that far, I can take you the rest of the way. I'll even take you all the way home, if needed. (I'd offer to pick you up, but I'm not a morning person. That extra 20 or so minutes makes a lot of difference before noon.) Okay, I am waiting for my mother to get off the phone and then I am going to have a long talk with her, try to convince her that interaction with other Star Wars fans is a good thing. We will see what happens.

 

But is it a good thing? My girlfriend seems to thing these meetings are making me into an even bigger nerd then before... I didn't even think that was possible!

 

Hehe...that is a good question. I for one think it's good to meet other fans...besides my friend I've known my whole life, you're the only people I know that like it!

I don't think these meetings are geekifying us anymore than we already are - it's good to have people to discuss these things with other than non-believer girlfriends.

 

Yeah, that's what I tell her: "I either talk about Star Wars with them or I talk about it with YOU!"

That sucks Keiran. Maybe we can plan the next meeting with enough advanced notice that your mom can plan around it.

 

Unless his mom thinks we're just all a band of freaks...which wouldn't wouldn't be untrue.

Maybe next time we have a meeting in Camarillo we can try something other than Applebee's too. We really do have a good variety of meeting/dining places. Really.

 

Do you guys have a "Road House Grill" around there? That place is the best!The food is great and the next best thing is that they give you peanuts for appitizers,you just crack them and drop the shells on the ground!That's what it's known for,It's the eating place with peanuts on the ground all over!

 

We have one sort of like that. It's called Bandit's.

 

Mmm... Bandit's. Let's go there next time. Their tri-tip sandwich with carmelized onions is dee-licious. (Can you tell I work in Camarillo?)

Bandit's sounds fun. Although, if you want it closer to your home, that's good too. I don't want you guys to have to drive all the way out here each time!

 

Bandits is cool with me too, it's even closer to me than Applebees!
