V.C, CA ~~~Meeting 48: TOA~~~

WHEN: Saturday, October 28th
TIME: 6:00 PM
WHERE: Pirates Grub & Grog in Oxnard (450 S Victoria Ave, Oxnard, CA 93030)

Make sure you all RSVP and do you best to make it to the meeting.


Kelsey will be gone for sure and I should be gone by then as well but if I'm still here because we still don't have an apartment I'll be there.

 

I'll be there. Since the meeting was placed somewhere relatively near to me it would be bad form for me not to show up.

 

This should be doable, I've put it in my phone, I'll be there.

I actually have a family pumpkin carving party that night...so I may not make it.

 

Oh, wait...double "duh"...the party is FRIDAY night. I'm officially beyond lame, now!

Where are you coming from?

From Camarillo you can take the 101 North towards Ventura,
exit Victoria and head South (left).

Remain on Victoria through and passed Channel Islands Blvd.

Pirates Grub and Grog is a short ways passed the intersection.
(Since I've never been there I do not know which side of the street it is on though I assume it to be on the right).


Alternate Route from Camarillo and Thousand Oaks:


Exit the 101 North onto Pleasant Valley Rd.

Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Rd. and take this road all the way West to Ventura Rd.

Turn right onto Ventura Rd. and take this street to Channel Islands Blvd.

Make a left onto Channel Islands Blvd.

Continue on this road until you reach Victoria. Make a left onto Victoria.

I'm assuming that Pirates Grub and Grog is on the right side of the street.


PG and G is located very near to the Oxnard Harbor and so you can use that landmark as a reference point.

I'm coming from Ventura. :~)

 

It's an easy shot from Ventura then. Straight through on Victoria. You got lucky... I think that used up the majority of my knowledge of this area and how to get around in it.
I've lived here for a little over a year and a half but I don't stray far from my little area. And thus my ability to give directions is rather limited. MapQuest is my lifesaver.

 

Someone might want to call Jonathan and remind him. I know he is planning to go but he's really busy nowadays with two jobs and school so he probably needs a reminder.

Anyone heard from Mike lately?

 

I haven't. I've been crazy busy myself, and my back is way out of it. Luckily my brother's football game is early in the day so I can make this without being late.

 

I'd call Jonathan...but I don't have his #...and I haven't heard/talked to Mike in ages.

 

How did the meeting go? I know Nassik missed it, anyone else? How was the Pirates place?

 

I'd say overpriced for what you get. The food was fine, just priced too high. Not too piratey inside, either. Meeting was fine. :~)
