-Yahoo mailing list housecleaning will take place on 9/26. Please send a "Yes" reply to Abhay if you wish to remain on the yahoo mailing list. Anybody who does not reply by that date will be removed.

TFN Board Relocation - Make sure that you have accurate and up to date e-mails registered for theforce.net forums so that you can still use the forums when they transfer to their new server.

C.R.'s report: Them crickets keep on chirping

Previous Events:
Best Bargain Books Saturday Aug 14th - A lot of last minute scrambling to get ready, but a great event. The costume contest was good, as was the Family Feud game. Close to 400 people were there according to the management. They are looking forward to having us do another event with them.

Dragon-Con September 3rd-6th - Several club members went and had a good time. Filled us in on all the wacky stories after the meeting finished.

Upcoming events:
-Big Apple Con 10/1-10/3 at Penn Plaza Pavilion,NYC

-New York Comic-Con 10/8-10/10 at Javits Center,NYC

--Club Anniversary Trip 10/17 Jamesport Vineyards - plan is to meet up at 12 noon and bring your own food with you. We need to get a head count so that they can make sure to have room for us. Bring money for wine tasting and purchases. We should also try to plan to carpool out there.

Event Planning:
-Possible meet-up at Tuxedo Renn Faire 9/26 - Several members are still interested in trying to get up to the Renn Faire in Tuxedo NY. If interested, please e-mail Dan.

I-Con Planning:
-Discussed what worked and didn't work last year.
-Question/Puzzle ideas needed for all games. Please e-mail any ideas for I-Con game puzzles to Abhay.

I was just about to post a thread about that.

Meeting #85 will be on Sunday, October 17.

We were planning on taking a trip out to Long Island Wince country to celebrate the club anniversary.

Weather permitting, we'll be meeting at Jamesport Vineyards, 1216 Main Road, Jamesport, NY.

Many of us will also be attending New York Comic Con this weekend.
