I.E., CA MEETING FRIDAY JUNE 17 AT DENNY'S OFF OF VAN BUREN

Okay. So, the meeting is going to be held this Friday June 17 at a soon to be picked location. The meeting will start at 8 pm, show up at 7 pm if you want to eat. (Also allows for traffic)

I'm going to go scouting tomorrow. A place like Denny's would be awesome. We just need to make sure that we'll actually be able to talk and not be too crowded.

We got to figure out what Dennys......I know the one by the colleg is accomidating. I used to go with my frineds who LARP'd and they loved the cotsumes they wore. Just a suggestion.

There are several Denny's (Menny, even) in Riverside. The University one is ok, yes.

The Van Buren one is better...

 

Let's not argue over which denny's now, I asked for input over w eek ago and go no response.

 

I called both the Dennys. The University Dennys said that Friday nights can get really crowded and parking's a pain. The Van Buren one said that if we have a group at night we'll be fine. Harris is going to call and reserve a big booth for us all.

I'll be there. My husband mentioned he may ditch out on seeing Batman at Downtown Disney with his bat grou in order to come as well. I'll have the little ewok, too.

 

I'll bring 2 dozen then. I expect them all to be gone at the end of the meeting.

 

Bringing outside food to a restaurant????

Higher-end establishments would charge a "plate fee" (like "corkage fee" if you bring your own wine).

I would expect Denny's to either ask us to put them away or just give us hard looks. Either way, might want to look for a new venue for meeting number 2, in case we wear out our welcome this time.

Believe me, I have nothing against Krispy Kremes. But I wouldn't bring my own food if any of you invited me over for dinner, either.

I'm sure we can all spring for an order of fries, coffee, pie, or even a full meal at that hour. Nothing to break the bank, but something to keep relations smooth.

I'm all for Krispy Kremes in the parking lot afterwards.
