Meeting Ideas

Wake up Moncton! Don't make me get the hose!

Now I know Darth Real Life gets in the way (I know this myself, just dropped out of the a game of JCC because of it). But we can't let this ff sink into the pits of the Earth!

So, anyway, I was thinking we should brainstorm some meeting ideas and when we could have them, etc...

What would you guys like to do? Like something we haven't done yet. Something that you enjoy.

Oh yeah, where did everybody go? Who's still here? or near us...like Sackville.

 

Only ideas I got are movie or bowling ... what else is there in moncton?

 

You guys should start an EU book club or something.
And weren't we going to do an RPG thing at one time?

And there's other things we haven't met up about like collecting or even costuming.

 

An RPG night would be a blast.

That would require you to bring your Xbox to Moncton, hun.

And yeah we could do an RPG night. Wasn't Darth Mark going to host it at one time? I don't know anything about RPG's, so whoever wants to host, I'm there...

 

We could also... wander down Main Street with lightsabers and count the dirty looks we get.

Or an OT marathon night.

So, so far we've got:

RPG meeting
X-box marathon
OT marathon
or brandishing lightsabers on Main st. We could invite Tammy and Ryan, it would bring back memories of McDonalds.

 

LOL, that would be funny.

If anyone is interested in anime or gaming, we could have a get-together at the convention being held here next month.

 

What about a board game night? Risk or Monopoly?

We could probably do that at the Anime/Gaming Convention, if anyone brought a copy of it.

The price would be a little higher than most of our events. A single day pass is 15 dollars, or ten for students.

Actually, I've been recently completely turned off to the idea of roleplaying. It's just so very time-consuming, and --in my case-- often not worth it. I still got all the books (they're SW collectibles, MAN!!!), so if I ever change my mind, I know where to look. I dunno ... if there was enough enthusiasm pointed to it, I would get excited about it and might take it back up.

X-Box night would be pretty cool, so long as we can get a game we can all get into. Might I suggest "Jedi Academy?"
