OK, we don't know any details still except they will be somewhere in Charlotte on the 25th. So I'm going to plan this nice lowkey get together so that we can all meet up and stuff our faces, k?

 

D'oh! I'll be at DragonCon with LT helping him on his book tour starting the 30th of this month.

The earliest I'll be back in town is the 16th of September.

On a funny note, I remember when I met Luis. I had no money at all at the bagel shop so I sort of hung around outside until I asked the owner if I could sit inside and wait for someone without buying anything.

Hi...I'm new here but have been enjoying the posts. Want to ask--Is it ok for new folks to come to the Sept.2 meeting thing? I am a bit bummed out because i have been away and I just found out today about the Charlotte appearance at the prebyterian hospital and Discovery place. I am only about 15 mins.away from that but I missed it by about 2 hours! "Failed I have. Into exile I must go..." Me too, Yoda!!

TK-2970 and I will arrive there a bit early and get a table and direct the host/hostess that if people ask for the Charlotte Fan Force to bring them to us. [sounds frightening ]

As for the book club, originally I was thinking let's do the X-Wing series but then I rethought that and thought maybe reading one of the trilogies such as the Thrawn Trilogy would be better to start with.
