Char, NC Meeting next Saturday?

OK, mesa propose that wesa meet...

OK, end Jar-Jar talk. My idea is that we meet next Saturday, August 17, at 2:00 p.m. at McAlister's, then go to the 3:45 showing of AOTC. Any thoughts? No meeting unless I get at least three definite "yes" responses by Wednesday.

I'm sucking at this showing up to meetings thing! Can't make it on Saturday. I'm really excited though: my hero, Alton Brown, is going to be in Asheville signing autographs and things that day, and I'm going to go meet him! Woohoo!!!! But dogggit, I want to see you guys!

You know across 74 from the Hariss Teeter how they built the Lowes? It's in the shopping center. If you turn into the Lowes area, take the first right and then a sharp left and McAllisters is right behind Electronic's Boutique's Gamer's World and those restaurants.

PROPOSING NEW MEETING:

Meesa propose that we meet again, at a time of ya'lls choosing.

I like doing it at McAlister's, since those Chili Nachos are just so dang scrumtious.

But, if you'd like to do something different, like bowling, I'm up for that too.

But if you guys can pick a time and place, I'll probly be there (I've got my license now )

 

I'm always up for cheap food, especially considering that some baskets cost 2$ or so.

How about we meet for an early dinner on Friday..? Say, 6pm? This gives people enough time to get off work and all and then come..

 

Friday's great for me. In fact, it's the only day this week that works for me. Early dinner at McAlister's, then if you guys are up to doing something else afterwards--movie, bowling, etc.--we could do that, too.

 

Well, myself and a few of my friends go bowling on Wednesdays at Carolina Lanes.. but it's 4.95$ a game on any days other than Wednesday.

Well, you have to be considerate of Tracy, Clay and others who work. I know Tracy and Clay get out around 4:30-5pm and they'd have some drive just getting there, that's why I mentioned 6pm. It'd be the best time for us who work. I know I'm working until 4:30 or so and I won't be able to get there at 5.
