Vancouver Meeting This Weekend

Ok, so is the meeting at 5:30 or 6:00?

 

If most of us are there @ 5:30, it'll be at 5:30. If some of us are late, we'll wait until 6:00 before we start.

 

As mentioned, I'll get there as soon as I can, but that will still be after 6.

 

Curious ex-pat question... did anyone show up?

Ya, we should have updated this earlier for the benefit of those not able to be there. There were several of us there including Alex, Antonio, Mike, Cassandra, and myself.

Most of the discussion was on the subject of the newly formed council and it's role in the group. The consensus was that the council wasn't something that we needed at this point, though it may be revisited in the future. That doesn't mean, however, that Alex will be burdened with the sole responsibility for activities and such; it should be up to all of us as members to take an active role on and off the boards.

 

I believe it was also decided that should a council be wanted in future (or any change of representation), a vote will go to the membership for who will make up the council.
