Phx Meeting thursday for SDCC trip

Hey Team,

I'm holding a meeting to hand out driving directions, discuss driving arraingements, badge and table attendance, volunteering, last minute car things, and any other details. Lemme know if you can make it.

Will be there. I'm also bringing a pair of Talkabouts radios for anyone who will need them is the caravan and/or Sandy Eggo.

No. The two FRS Talkabouts don't have rechargable batteries. They'll need AA's, which will be brand new when I hand them out. My GMRS radios (the ones we used in LA and in line) won't work with FRS radios. Obi Wan mentioned bringing Talkabouts, so that's what I will provide. I have 4 total. 2 are staying with me, as I am caravaning with my buddy Myles, who just decided to go. He'll be at the meeting tomorrow, too.

If noone else is brining radios, then I'll just bring my GMRS and their chargers.

Obey Wann is bringing the FRS's, so we could use those. Thank you very much for lending them to us, though Obey Wann said his used AAA's...you guys have two different versions ?

We may have differrent radios, but if they're FRS, then they'll work with eachother. I'll try and get some fresh batteries tomorrow.

 

I'll be there, granted I'm not actually going on the trip... but hey, someone has to bring those Star Wars bedsheets!

I am going to a concert so i will not make it unless you all are doing something after.
I also have radios with headsets. i will bring for our car. I have unlimited supply of free AA and 9v batts as many as you need forever.
I got them for my Dune Sea garrison. we never used them. I have 4 or 6 I dont remember they just sit in a flight case in my office. Please post the info if I dont make it. from what I do know we are leaving gabbys at noon on fri.

 

Batteries are good....... We'd be very appreciative if you could bring them Diecide.
