It was mentioned in passing between myself and Stuey, but I thought i'd open it up to a wider audience.

Would anyone like to meetup in Cardiff on 11th June to go and see ROTS? Once a few mans have been confirmed I can start to organise the time and venue.

So, the first proper Welsh meet of 2005. Who's with me?

[Galadriel] To be a CR is to be alone... [/Galadriel]

    Oops wrong saga :p

On a side note i've decided to do a home-made marathon on Thursday, TPM & AOTC in the morning, off into the cinema at lunch time for ROTS then home for the Originals :D

Shouldn't that be the other way around? ;)

I've really been looking forward to having all six movies to watch back to back on DVD on my brothers projector and big screen. However I have just found out that he is selling them and my 15 hour (including toilet stops) movie marathon will never be!

    Oh well, back on topic.

    Anyone else interested?

Dang. Busy right now (making films and getting jobs and such). Something in July or August (and possibly involving a pint or two would be more up my street.

Hmmm, I think this meet might be dead in the water.

Does it still count as a meet if I go by myself? And by go I mean, stay home and watch a DVD?

I would come, but it is 229 miles to Cardiff, which would take me 57 hours and 25 minutes to walk there without any stops. So maybe if you plan one in July I could start the walk much sooner and make it.

No, running would take longer, since I would run for a bit then have to stop while I have a heart attack, walking is a nice constant pace that takes longer to tire from so can cover more distance. Unless you are a marathon runner, or well trained, which you should of been able to judge when we met, I am not.

Ramble_Bobba: Self, self, self! That's all it is with you :( Ohhhhh, I can't come cause I live nearly 300 miles away. Sometimes I doubt your commitment to sparkle mot.... Err, the Welsh Forum ;)

Never mind mate, i'm sure we'll be able to arrange something in the near future.

P.S. And yes, I do know your not Welsh. But thats no excuse!

GrenGrev4: That's ok. Exams are important and I guess attending a meet at Cardiff finishes a distant second. Maybe I should wait until July or something when everyone has some more free time.

So what would be good for everyone?

    I don't get it.

And no, not brothers, just clones. I really am not sure how it came about, but it was of this place, and it stuck. So much so that when I first met him, I asked if he was Stuart Simms, then when the answer was yes, I asked if he was my clone.

Ah, so you just look alike then?

I to have a famous lookalikey. Step forward Mr Anakin Skywalker. ;)

    Li-Dais = Levis.

Pretty poor I know. But its hard work being a CR. I don't have the time to write jokes like I used to. :(

Thats a fine head of hair! And also, props for the beard thing you have going on. ;)

Maybe we should hold a compitition, who is the hairiest Star Wars fan in Britain?

It is indeed spooky! Talk about attack of the clones.

Sadly (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) the beard is gone now, but the hair remains. it was particularly out of control on that day due to the adverse conditions it faced in getting to the marathon

Ahh, the old Marathon hair problem. Don't worry, some people spend hours trying to get that look. ;)

I don't know if I should continue to grow mine (ala Ep3 Anakin) or just keep it short. Maybe i'll grow it till the Signotopia event and then cut it.

Wow - Rambles and Stuey - I couldn't actually see the clone thing on the day, but looking at the picture the resemblance is there!

and welshguy, I think I can safely say I'd win the hairest Star Wars fan competition... :p :D
