Never heard of a N64 version. Must look it up.

EDIT: Good gosh. I don't want to know!

Are the collections mapped well on any of the consoles?

What are other differences from console to console?

Other than the reversal of the A & B functions on GCN (I think I read somewhere the PS2 version doesn't have that issue), the Mega Man AC is well mapped (not much else to do beisdes run, jump, move and the toggle for new menu options added).

The Mega Man X Collection, as I'm told (haven't popped my copy in yet), corrected the A/B error.

I vaguely remembered reading about there being some content differences between the PS2 and GC versions though too.

Ah, the PS2 version can unlock a full episode of the Mega Man cartoon, while the GCN can unlock producer interviews.

Beyond that, and, IIRC, the button mapping issue, their pretty much the same- and the games are pretty well emulated, shy the enhancements like the trigger-button-controlled weapon cycling and revised menu design (to match Mega Man 8).

What about the XBox versions? Are they identical to the PS2?
