Mega Meeting???

ok i am planing on going that saturday only. cuz friday i am going to the JFK aircraft carrier. so saturday, is the day for the quick meetting and then the 1 fist weekend of the march do the OT movies here. and we can watch it on the projector.

Cool with me. I'll hopefully be at MegaCon Saturday as well (awaiting confirmation from one of my friends). The OT on a projector? Ooooh.

Saturday is usually the day with the most going on so I'll venture saying yes, so far everyone is going on Saturday. Any particular place where we want to meet?

Karma, I'm going to be debuting my clone (the primer version) all weekend. I don't know if I'll dress up Friday, but Sat. I'll be in armor.

 

Lobby sounds good. I'll be with 3-4 other nerds. Probably not in costume cause I'm lame, but I could change my mind and do something last minute. *shrug* But yeah, I purchased my ticket earlier today, so I'll definitely be there.

 

I'll probably be haning out in the lobby most of the day, or at the 501st booth. Look for the clone that doesn't look all shiny

 

yeah i am just going to walking around (with no one) but i will be in my sith costume if i can get it finished.

 

So allow me to just throw this out there:

Meeting the first weekend in March (5th perhaps?)
Potentially at TJ's for the OT viewing.
Potential time: 11am? If we want to watch the entire thing I suggest we start early.

I'll have to see if I can get the 5th off from work, as I usually work like 11-5 on Saurdays. Shouldn't be too big of a deal. I'm mid-shift, so it's not like they really desperately need me when there's already someone in the café.

How does the lobby there sound around 1ish??

There is a prop panel being put on by the 501st but I don't know what time it is. I'll find out and report back.

 

Hey all, the 501st prop panel is from 240-330. I highly recommend it if you're interested in making props. I've been the last two years so I may not attend this year. Do we want to meet around 2 then in the lobby? I won't have a watch on (armor kinda makes that hard) but just look for the unshiny clone with the funky shins

 

2 in the lobby should be good for me. I'd like to stop by the 501st prop thingy and ask them what I shoud do about my femmetrooper costume. I really should just post in the costuming and props board, cause I know Mirax has made one and she frequents the board...

Ooooh, spiffy, Q! Makes me wish I had planned a costume. Might wear a sort of Arwen-esque dress just to be wearing something costume-y...

 

That's a sweet costume! I wish I had the time/talent to do something like that.
