Anyone been on the Melbourne Coffee Walk?

It's great, you go on a walking tour of the cities best coffee shops and you get to stop and sample the different coffees along the way.

 

I did have plans to make a DV movie of me drinking as much coffee as possible to study the effects... Then I thought better. This all came to me in that episode of Futurama when all the characters got a $300 bill, and Fry decided to buy 100 cups of $3 coffee... That was a great episode...

My "on Air" partner and I used to drink 3 litres of Jolt Cola each, 6 cups of coffee, and a can of "V" each morning between 6am and 9am.

Man were we buzzing.

 

I love that futurama episode. "I think I was saved by an ornage blur!"

Its almost as good as the episode of 'Black Books' where Bernard has the drinking tally...friend gold.


Also, I would like to make a formal complaint about VicFF being a 'old boys club'. 1. You're not old, most of you. Spring chickens even. and 2. Me and Shara might kill you. Out of the nicenes of our (EVIL BLACK) girly hearts


But if need be, I'm willing to drink you all under the table to prove my point.

 

In a moment of utter seriousness, you're more then able to try and drink me under the table, so I can demonstrate your utter inability to do so.

After the Toga party at the Nott last night, I can comfortably assert I am once again in form. My Pint skull is down to 4 seconds again, and can only improve.

NB. PoT Inc. would like to assure kids that drinking is not a past time that one should induldge in, and in fact can have a host of deliterious side-effects. I've come to the decision that drinking to get drunk is something that I won't do on a regular occasion, due to the near death experiences of old. I like a nice tipple on the occasion or a sit down with my frosted Homer beer mug filled to the brim with chilled Asahi and a nice DVD. I generally only abuse alcohol when it's free, ie AAV Christmas party etc!

 

I think a drinking-under-the-table match is in order.

and an Astroboy night. Shot spirits whilst watching an episode and everytime Astroboy is meantioned (even in title song and also shortened versions) yo have a shot

 

Ooh, the challenge is on!

And my head hurts in anticipation of the astroboy drinking game...urgghh...

Although a Sailor Moon one would be much worse.

 

I think the 1 shot of spirits per one minute game is quite simple and appealing. Appealing your smelly vomit covered corpse off the floor that is!

Thank you, thank you. And now for my encore, uhm. Well thats actually all I have. But as we were saying, drinking is a fun activity and is even better when you don't eat all day, before you start chugging back the brewskis.

It is perhaps a perfect time to mention that never in modern American film or literature, has the consumption of legal substances - even when aforementioned consumption resulted in intoxication - lead to a film being classed higher then PG-13.

Just be sure to tone down the flagrant sexual references and we should all be happy.

I believe that the consumption of alcohol is allowed in PG-13 movies right? Well, if not, we shall change all drinking to drinking in relation to juice and milk shakes. I am partial to a nice shake at Baskin & Robbins! Any flavour icecream equals any flavour milkshakey goodness.... Mmmm.
