It's Movember!

I have been growing a beard since about early September and this morning I got rid of it all, except the mo and I have to say it's a bit of a shocker. It's better than that shocker attempt for the rugby 7's though Solo!

I, like most my age can't really grow a decent one starting today and ending at the end of Movember, so I thought I'd just leave the dirty top lip i already have.

Anyone else participating?

 

I shaved on Tuesday night and like a lot of poeple here at work will not be shaving for the month.

I realise i lack much facial hair growing ability but i'm doing it anyway

 

so, basically, SFL, it looks like you've got a "dirty sanchez"?

I've had a beard for the last few months ... was thinking about turning it into a 'tache this month, but have got quite attached to the full beard to be honest.

youagain: dude, be thankful you dont have to shave daily, it sucks.

although, my mate has very little facial hair, and we tell him he'll reach puberty one day - so i think either way there's down sides

 

I have to say, I got rather attached to my little slug, but as of approximately 10minutes ago, it has been appaulingly reduced to a little Hilter.

Reasons for this:

1/ it was long and scratching my lip (annoying, an trimming is not an option)

2/ I was becoming fond of it (not good)

3/ Callan, my only real rival shaved his Mo off yesterday (Boo)

4/ I scored a hot date for Thursday night and although she gave me her number and agreed to dinner while I was currecntly sporting the dirty top lip, I did say I'd be shaving it off to inspect prossible new flats (I left the mo while flat hunting, but I can't bring myself to pick her up thursday night with the Mo)

5/ I think going to play Squash tonight with Callan with a little Hitler will be reasonably funny

And that's all there is to say about that... picture's say a 1000 words, they say...

NB: photos look terrible cause 1, they're of me and 2, my cell phone's camera is weird.

 

OK, before Thursday you have to give the National Front a call and tell them you'd like to come to one of their meetings. How funny would that be, turning up with a Hitler 'tache. Nice.

One of my friends is sporting a rather nice handlebar for Movember.

 

I can't believe Callan shaved his off. He goes; "oh it was patchy and horrible" and to which I replied "and mostly orange!" he cracked up.

Pity, but I hope this dinner date's worth it

I have not shaved since 1st Novmeber, yes almost a week in aid of Movember.

I normally shave once every 3 days, and am patchy to say the least. But damn it i said i wouldn't shave for all of November and I am sticking to it no matter how bad (or orange) it looks!

But fair enough SFL, i'm sure a weeks growth on your chewbacca face will eclipse my month long effort

Don't laugh, i know i'm baby faced. Oh and note awesome mullet i am also sporting

 

The key difference was that I grew a full beard for a month and a half, then left the mo and it was very "borat" (as my mum said in an email, OMG MARK YOU LOOK LIKE THAT ALI G GUY WHO'S GOT A MOVIE SOON, SHAVE THAT OFF BEFORE THURSDAY!)

Anyway son, you need to keep the face clean and just leave that top lip - that's more embarrassing, and it eliminates the halarity of the patchiness

I'm waiting to see what sort of covergae i have after 2-3 weeks, then will shave so only a mo appears

Good growth on chops and mo, however blondeness of mo makes it almost impossible to see.

"Mo-scara" definitely needed to show it up. And no link from mo to chops
