Why would you leave? You are one of the few very regular posters here, hehe.

Hope you all had a good x-mas. I got some sweet Star Wars stuff, so it was good.

Merry X-mas to all. I just got back from a week in Cali. Went to Disneyland and Star Tours and it was all quite fun. So why is Atticus leaving?

Its not just that, although that is a big chunk of it. Another reason is because Im not in my star wars mood right now and also the fact that my roomate is leaving soon and taking his computer so I wont beable to post that much anyways.

I been like that for a bit now. dont know why. maybe its cuz my head is stuck in world of warcraft. or probably just cuz life is too busy right now. eithe way, i wanted to let ya all know, im still alive, haha. hope you all had a merry christmas, and have a happy new year!!

Actually she has nothing to do with this. I go in stages, I was like this 2 years ago when I didnt have a girlfriend. Besides Ashley isnt like that, your thinking of my roomy Ryans GF. Shell give him the guilt trip and suck his soul out of his body if he did something that didnt involve being with her.

I wasn't in a Star Wars mood for a few years. I was afraid I'd never come back, but here I am! I hope Atticus gets his mood back. Also, I think I kinda remember medfordforcemaster, but not really. At any rate, let me formally say.... Hello. o_O ^_^ lol. Sorry, I'm an introvert and must find ways to amuse myself. Hi, and I hope we get to talk some more soon! :)

Some guys turn into idiots with girls. Not just AROUND them, but when they have girlfriends, they no longer understand the concept of boundaries. For lack of a nice, PC way to put this, they are not strong alpha males, but weak, easily manipulated individuals who will succumb to other peoples' wills, guy or girl, very easily. A strong individual, guy or girl, does not change when he/she is with someone else. If I am with a girl, I don't stop liking Star Wars -- Star Wars was here first, and is way more important than anyone else in the world, for that matter. It's Star Wars. It will be here long after they have all perished. If you're with someone else, you should still have your same hobbies and interests and take time out to pursue them as you did before, and if you can't handle that, you're in an unhealthy relationship.

But I suppose for some people who are desperate for attention from the opposite gender, they can lose sight of this. I never understood this. My first girlfriend didn't change anything, at all. I told her how it was going to be, and that I cared about her, but that I have things I value that were here first. I remember one time she got all indignant about me working out and going rock climbing after, she was like, "You seem to care more about working out than about me," and I said, "That's right, I do. I care more about working out than about anyone else because working out keeps me healthy, and there is no choosing between you and working out, working out, like sleep, is something I do on a regular basis, and when I'm done with it, THEN we can hang out." If people don't understand boundaries and what is important to you, they try to walk all over you. It sounds to me like your roommate was one of those types of people who doesn't know how to say no.

That probably holds true with anyone who places great importance on relationships. If you fear losing something, you're already acting from a decripit, weak position. If you value having something, but can live without it, you are always acting from a position of strength. For instance, I love my Star Wars collection, but it isn't my fandom, it is merely an expression of my fandom. If for some reason it had to go, I would part with it knowing that I enjoyed it for as long as I had it, and it made me happy, but that Star Wars itself is what makes me most happy, and the collection just reminds me of that. With relationships, it is much the same. As I do not value myself or my fandom based on my Star Wars collection, I do not value myself as a person based on my relationships. I am independent of any relationships and opinions that anyone else holds. They do not change me. I am always the same. So with or without someone, I'm still the same person, therefore there really is nothing to lose and everything to gain -- it can be a fun time and be enjoyable while it lasts, but it will end eventually and that's a good thing, so that something new can begin in its place. It is the way of things. The way of the Force. ;)

haha, nothing, I make her pay her share. ;)

Although frankly if I were super rich, it'd be easier to pay for my dates, I wouldn't have to put up with any nonsense or emotional attachment, just some good conversation and some good... fun. ;)
