Hi all,
As you know I haven't been around much with Mum being ill. I didn't even know til today that you guys had a thread for me. I want each & every one of you to know how special you are for posting your thoughts & prayers for me.It really does mean the world to me & Mum would be so pleased to see my friends rally around me. A big hug & thanks to everyone.
A veryy Merry Christmas period to all & happy New Year. God knows I hope 2005 is better than 2004 for so many of us.

 

all of this frivolous spending money on things that aren't really needed to survive when there are thousands, maybe millions in the Asia regions who, within the space of a few minutes, lost everything that they owned, have no running water, no food, little medical supplies and have lost their most precious commodity, family and friends. I feel a little guilty now about spending so much on christmas......

I only wish that I had some sort of expertise to be able to volunteer to help those people out. All I can do is help in the small way I can....donations through reputable agencies....

sorry to put a damper on the celebrations here, but we really do need to be thinking about those people whose christmas was destroyed by such an unavoidable disaster...and pray that it doesn't happen again.
