Metropolis

    Metropolis is one of the movies to define the sci-fi genre... it has been influential on many sci-fi films, including Star Wars (C-3PO's concept drawings were based upon the robot from Metropolis). It is being re-released in certain theaters for its 75th anniversary. The closest theater to be showing it appears to be in Columbus at the Wexner Center for the Arts on December 6th and 7th, but I could be wrong. I'd be interested in going, but I know I have my choir concert on the 7th, so it rules that date out for me. But I dunno about the 6th.
