Gd Rapids, MI MI-Grand Rapids - K-B Toys "Toys For Tots"- Nov 18

What: The Kay-Bee Toys at RIVERTOWN CROSSINGS is letting us help with their "Toys For Tots" charity event. We will need a trooper or two, Lord Vader... and some Jedi. Seeing that this is at Rivertown Crossings mall all helmeted/Masked characters must stay inside the store.

We will not be taking pictures for this event, but will allow customers to bring their own cameras for pictures.

When: November 18th. Time from 12-3 pm. If you are costumer or coming as non-costume help, PLEASE be there by 11am or earlier to help set up and get instructions! There wont be much set up but we will have a short meeting before getting suited up.

It will be November so the mall will be crazy with all the holiday shoppers.
K.B Toys will be giving us items to auction off during our Dec 2nd events as thanks for helping them with this event. They will also let us pass out or display flyers for that event as well. This will be a GREAT promotion for the Toy show!!!

I'm marking this down on the calender tonight and see if my wife doesn't work on that weekend, or the dec 2nd weekend, Both events will be great.

Do we have a final count on who and how many are coming?
I have some friends / family that are coming for the Toys for Tots, and to say hi. They would like to get some pics if they can also. I plan on bring my digital camera to take some pic's if anyone want some.

 

Hey guys I had a BLAST, and I hope we helped out the Toy for Tots!!
The kids were so funny to watch how they react to everyone. There was a little girl that was going on about star wars with jarreth and I, it was great. The funniest thing was when a little girl asked if DV was Nice.... LOL ... we said oh yeah he's very nice, I'm sure he'll shake your hand.
Thanks everyone for helping out a rookie at this, your guys are great, and I'm very glad to have finally met some of you. Thanks again.
