Its finally here again! The MichaelFrisk.com Action Sequence Contest.

So, lets first get on with the guidelines and rules.

    Rules:
1: Sequence must be no longer than 5 minutes.
2: Use of lightsabers is not allowed.
3: Swearing is alright, but keep it to a minimum.
4: No adult content, except for rule 3.
5: It cant be boring! :p

    Theme:
The theme is Martial Arts flicks. If you havent seen a martial arts flick, then thats sad. Matrix would SORT OF be in this genre.

Ok, now that thats out of the way, no to the prize!

The prize is free webhosting, just like the last contest. The winner will recieve 300mb's of space, and 10gigs of bandwith. The adress will be http://NAME.MichaelFrisk.com

All entries must provide there own hosting, and if not thats fine. There will be a temporary subdomain on http://www.fanfilms.co.uk for you to upload your film to.

If you have any questions, or suggestions of rules, reply to this thread.

I've got something I could possibly submit, but its 5:33.

Plus, the details are, um...sketchy. When does it have to be done? And, what exactly does the 'martial arts movie' theme mean, especially when grouped with 'The Matrix SORT OF counts'. If you're talking about shaw brothers style old school stuff, then after I add in some digital zooms on faces and speed all the fighting about a hundred percent, maybe that :33'll get shaved off.

But you need to post more info! The reason the big choeography contests work is because the first post lays down every rule very clearly (in most cases...)

Yes, i know those are sketchy, i plan on using this thread to gain ideas from others, then i will post another thread on the final rules and deadline, and, i forgot to add that the clips must not have any credits or title. and i would accept anything between 5-5:30.

What's with the change from action in general to only martial arts?

You should have used your last (failed) contest as a way to figure out how you need to run these. You need to learn how to take people's advice.

I did, but you got plenty of advice in your LAST thread, and this one could have been the finalized thread, did you know how to listen.

Don't take Funk's comments too seriously; remember he still hasn't posted any reviews for LCC3...

Mike you should ask my permission about these free prizes you are giving away and free Subdomains to do the hosting remember it is not your server as I pay the bills for it.
I don?t mean to sound rude but when I made you an admin on fanfilm it doesn?t mean you can give free space away like that. I know you ask me but I did ask to wait because of things I need to sort out but you gone ahead anyway it is not very polite. I may have to agreed with Funk-E ?do you know how to listen?.

Thomas, i wasnt hosting the prize on fanfilms, i was going to put a temporary subdomain for the people to upload there film, and we would put it on fanfilms.co.uk. The prize and space is at my expense, sorry, i worded it wrong,

Hah, if you mean the lightsaber vwoom vwooom sound, then no.. And yes, you can use swords, i just dont want this to turn into a lightsaber competition

If i did allow lightsabers, i would make it so you would have to use something els as well, like, a lightsaber, and i donno.. a cat... :p

And, im also thinking about removing the theme..
