Mickey Mouse in our town!

    Ok, sorta...

    "Celebrate Mickey: 75 InspEARations" is a two-month touring collection of Mickey Mouse statues designed by artists, actors, athletes, and Disney folks. Boston gets 15 Mickeys by such celebs as Ben Affleck ("Home Run Hero"), Jamie Lee Curtis ("The Original Mouse Pad"), Shaquille O'Neal ("Dunk Mouse"), and Doris Roberts ("Mousetaccioli"). The 700-pound, 6-foot statues are on display outside Faneuil Hall Marketplace and the New England Aquarium through July 20. It's free.

    I saw the Faneuil Hall ones earlier this week, the lobster one was cute. Most of them were covered with school field trip children, so it was hard to get a good look. ;)
