How would you like to pay, sir?
    [image=http://www.ddmason.com/images/Visa_Mastercard_Logo.jpg]

ps. April sounds good for me too - but dont let it stop everyone else meeting up in the Boro before then - they arent all as skint as us!

Hang on a mo....if I live 20 miles from Boro, Dave lives 6 miles, Leigh and Spike live in Middlesborough...then why not have the mini meet before then??? (we could still meet others for a larger 'mini' meet in April too....?)

For me, just avoid the GMEX event date (Feb 11/12). Surely there must be something we could do without paying out huge amounts of money....?

Cup of [face_coffee] at the Salvation Army?

Would just be good to meet everyone again and not wait so long...[:D]

    The Plan
The middlesbrough member's will meet up for a few hours to chat and get to know each other (early feb 2006 )
Then in April the member's of the North Easten thread are invited to come to Middlesbrough and join in for a full day's meet up with other member's -

Happy New Year everyone !! [face_dancing]

I'm back after an Xmas break away from all things computers.

Hope you all had a great festive time (and not too many mince pies [face_blush])

I'd be up for a mini meet, maybe over a couple of jars and a game of pool ?

Jase, I'll have a look at the GMEX thingy (ie ask the bank)and let you know asap

    ps

for a mini meet, Wednesdays would be best but not essential

I guess by the sounds of it, a meet at night time then, after work for you?

Sounds ok to me! Any dates in mind people....?

the main mini meet up later on for everyone in the north easten thread should be a day thing with a visit to the UGC and a look around shops maybe jit the pubs for a few games of pool later on ?

    Hi ya Dave! You stranger!

I usually park in the Sainsburys car park, near the bus station - cheap and cheerful for a long stay - unless anyone knows of any free car parks (if such a thing exists...?)

My local is the Camels Hump near the university (I'm a student who never grew up - kinda like a older version of Peter Pan but with alcohol)

does a nice pint of Coors, but I'm happy to drink anywhere - I have many people who will back me up on this !!

The Alice, I haven't been there in 8-9 years. Back when it had brooms etc hung in the windows - can't remember what it was called O' something, hmm an Irish Pub starting with O' ......

The Hump used to be called The Trooper about 10 years ago, it's behind Linthorpe Beds on Lithorpe Rd - round the corner from The Tarven/The House/and The Tarven again depending on when you drank in M'bro.

It's part of the It's a Scream chain.

One area of free parkng is outside my house - bout a 5/10min walk outside of M'bro
