I thought George Lucas was not permitting midnight showings, but several theaters seem to be doing them. Whats the story here.
There seemed to be a lot of conflicting information being given out by theater people who gave the best info they had when they had it, or at least thought they did. In the end, Lucasfilm did set the time and date for the beginning of ticket sales - May 3rd at 10:00am, and decided which theaters would get prints, but had nothing to do with whether there were midnight shows or not, that was the individual theaters decision. As it stands now, most of the good UA and and all of the AMC theaters are having midnight showings. We seem to have decided on the AMC 24 Highlands Ranch as our choice for group viewing for the midnight show.
I'll be there, Clockwork got me tickets (HE gets a Sacul), I now also have Continental Tix if anyone wants them.
