Dust off your costumes and mark your calendars, folks! We in Memphis would like to invite our neighboring FanForce friends to the 25th annual MidSouthCon. It will be held March 23-25, 2007 and, once again, it will be at the Airport Holiday Inn Select at Democrat and Airways. For anyone who has never been, MSC is an annual Sci-Fi/Fantasy Con which features Gaming, various Panels/Discussions, an Art Show, Dealer room, Costume contest/Masquerade and, of course, the Dance Party on Saturday night. We are making plans to reserve a Suite where Memphis and area FanForce folks can hang out. We will not be hosting a party, per se, but refreshments are welcome. Here?s a link to the Memphis MSC thread. More info will be posted as it becomes available. ~Traci
Thanks for the invite Traci. I was thinking it was the same day as All-Con in Dallas but it is the weekend of the 17th. We will check as it gets closer right now we are not going very far gotta save the money for C4 and LA
Yay! It's not the same weekend as our church conference this time!!! The last few years i've had conflicts. I might be able to make it.
I've reserved a room...so if anyone's interested in going and splitting the costs...let me know. Bacon
I'm an idiot. I forgot I'm going to Utah for a family reunion over Spring Break. We're leaving on the 22nd. DANGIT!!!
Sorry to hear you can't make it dodge. And that stinks that you've got to work Loco... There's always next year.
Just a reminder that there may still be space available if you're interested. You'd have to go to the website and see if there is still room.... The rooms were like 90 a night... If you are going, pm me and we'll try and meet up while there or something.
BJ, Darren, Denise and Gary: We had a fantastic time this weekend! Thanks for coming, y'all! There are lots of pics posted over on our board in the MSC thread. And - stangit - I didn't get a single pic of you guys in your costumes. Maybe someone can send me a pic or two? Up next - C IV, baybee!! See y'all there!
And you didn't want to go....I told you you'd enjoy yourself. I agree...The "towel boys" will, unfortunately be long remembered....somewhere I have a pic of them being de-toweled... It was a lot of fun... And looking forward to seeing you guys out in LA!
