Room has been reserved!!!!!
Now, for a flight......
Oh my gosh, maybe I should consider attending this event and meet a fellow Coreplanet member.
Ha! I'm right again!
(sorry I'm a little late in gloating about my superior deduction skills, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who skips the main page and bookmarks right to the boards)
You know, I had just thought of that! LOL, so here I am posting to this thread!!
The Midwest Regional Meeting planning committee would like to announce that Aaron Allston, author of the upcoming book ?Legacy of the Force1: Betrayal? will be signing at the Borders bookstore in Sunset Hills on Saturday June 10th.
Mr. Allston has also graciously agreed to hold a talk with attending members of the Regional meeting on Friday night, June 9th. This will be a great opportunity for aspiring writers and readers to get an inside look of the writing and publishing process.
So bring your questions and excitement and join us!! For more information PM either Jedi_Dajuan, jedi_runya or twilek69.
Special thanks to Club_333 for helping to make that happen
FanGirl mode: ENGAGE!!

*bounce bounce bounce bounce*
Now, if you could just get Stackpole in the same room, you'd be able to see me physically vibrate with excitment.
ah shucks... weren't nothin'
This is Arnie, host of Star Wars Action News. Marjorie and I may be interested in attending this event on Friday night and Saturday. Can we get more details regarding the cost, etc? I saw the $35, but if we aren't going on the Sunday tour, etc. I was interested in a breakdown if there is one.
It's actually $30, sorry about that. Basically that covers the Friday meeting room, picnic site, the food on Saturday, and transportation costs. The Sunday stuff is either free or add on. If you want more information feel free to PM me and we can talk about it
I know I'm late, but I reserved a room. It looks like I'm the only one coming from Des Moines. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Better late than never. Glad to have you aboard
Yea! Someone from my home state is coming. I've been hoping to meet some of the FanForce folks from Des Moines.
Dajuan, who do I give the $30 to? Should I just find you when I get in town?
Paypal firstname.lastname@example.org or pay Christina or me (checks writen out to her though).
Hey all! Just reserved a room and sent our registration via PayPal. See you there!

You two are good to go I'll update the master list tonight or tomorrow.
Also, everyone bring a costume for the signing event. They want us all there in costume to help out with the festivities.
As all of you minis players know, the Champions of the Force set is scheduled to be released on the 9th. Is there somewhere that we will be able to pick up booster packs? Or cases, even? I will try to buy one from my LGS before coming down, but I would like to buy more while I'm there.
Borders may have them that day, else there are a couple speciality shops semi near where we'll be.
I will be unable to bring a costume.
Does this mean I'm fired?
Oh no! No Rebel pilot?? You're not fired, just bring a SW shirt of some kind.
Mirax not bringing her Pilot costume?!?!? (I see, rebel. There must be Imperials checking baggage at the airport...) Um, if it's a not-enough-room-on-the-plane issue, you could send it to me, and I'll take it down, or maybe to Dajuan instead. You have an awesome pilot costume, and I would hate to see that you weren't able to bring it. PM me if there's anything I can do.
WOOHOO!!! merrick_stoller and I are registered and have our hotel booked. See you all there Friday night.
Yay! I am getting so excited and can't wait to meet you all!
It's not so much that it won't fit in my bag...
... let's just say I have a new stupid desk job where I sit on my butt all day.
BUT - I just got my new Rebel Legion t-shirt in the mail today! Yahoo!
Yay! I can't wait to meet everyone coming in! This is going to be a great weekend.
