Base on the script and salary they got, some of them did well.

As "hilarious" as what you said is, no, Amy Jo Johnson was clearly the most talented of the actors involved

Brainwashed by my nostalgia for a week ago..

Yes, exactly. Because what you think of it now is colored by previous experience.

I don't know, I think the putties did a great job communicating existential angst over the folly of man.

Not really. But we did smoke a lot of voodoo hash and slap David Yost around off-camera.

Billy was not amazing like Jason, Tommy or Kim in the first season, but he stayed for so long and showed great resilience, helped the team to get over the darkest time. He really is a admirable character.

Funny thing is Amy Jo Johnson still kept contact with many PR fans but she once was bashed badly by the PR fans on forum because they thought she hates PR.

I remember watching a little bit of the sequel, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, and thinking it was the trippiest **** I had ever seen.

I always love it when fairly cheesy kids' shows are turned into aggressively mediocre PG-13 films. They just have such a stellar track record.

I saw somewhere online that they will have infused powers with special abilities................. Don't like this.

The only way I'd watch anything new in the Power Rangers franchise was if they actually took the story and characters seriously. So far, the only entry I know of that did so was the 1995 feature film based on the "Mighty Morphin" era...and even that was a little too campy. I know they like marketing it to kids, but superheroes in general have developed a much broader spectrum of appeal than just the preteen crowd.

I'd want them to do it without any recycled footage at all, the actors doing most of their own fights both in and out of the suits, and villains that could actually win instead of plant creatures or huge Godzilla knockoffs.

This is something that could potentially work actually as a gritty PG13 franchise, but they'll Michael Bay it up with racist stereotypes and needless 'splosions.

I got to meet David Yost at a convention this past March, and while he declined an interview, I did get to speak with him briefly. I told him about being bullied relentlessly in school as a kid, and how Billy was my favorite of the five because he was smart without being weak. He really appreciated that, and signed an 8x10 of the 1995 film's cast for me. I'm hoping to eventually get them all on this one.
