Mile High Con 2008 (Con_Suite) 10/25/08 @ 2-4PM

Later that night, Westwood College sponsored the Con Suite with a QDoba nacho bar. Tre yummy.

 

Heck Yeah it was! The perfect late nite snack.



Oddly enough, I think it was Kimmy who said earlier in the day, in the Con Suite that we should do nachos next year.






It would seem that I became somewhat of a brief celebrity yesterday cuz throughout the night, people pointed at me and said "hey, you're the potato guy"

They will remember it next year too...and the year after that. I believe this might be the first time no one has asked about my nose. (Rachel tried to break it a few years ago and I sported a war wound for the con.)

 

I promised Cory I would post and say hi.

So, I don't know what happened but all weekend I only saw Cory (with the bell. ha!) and Leah. And them only briefly. I missed the potato bar. Sadness. In my defense, I was a bit busy. I didn't realize how busy until I looked at the program saw I had like 10 items listed. So, yeah. On the plus side, Patricia Briggs gave me a real honest-to-goodness silver bullet.

And I haven't been posting because I had two novels due October 1 and a bunch of other stuff and I've been totally out of it for two months. I didn't even go see Clone Wars.

I hope everyone had a good time at the con! It was rockin' this year -- record setting attendance!

 

I wish I could have stuck around long to see anyone outside of the potato bar. And just so you know, Doni, I have officially hooked you another reader. She is out of the country on an assignment and needed some books to read, so I sent her the ones out now. She's about to start the 3rd one tonight, and wanted to know when the next one is going to come out.

Who Else Books sold out of Midnight Hour at the con. I'm in awe.

And Dead Man's Hand is due out February 1. Woot!

awwww!!! Bean is smiling. She loves her friendy Abigail.
