"Home" is the team name that Han and Chewie call themselves.

It goes a little something like this.

    Chewie: *growl*We're the dream team.
    Han: Chewie, we're Home.
    Chewie: *growl*Oh, yeah.

It's possible that the Falcon is lost at the battle of Jakku. Then someone salvages it from the desert and contacts Han. Thus why he's on the freighter above the planet.

I was thinking about this earlier.

The Millennium Falcon was involved in the Battle of Jakku and wound up as a piece of junk in a ship junkyard. With Rey as a scavenger, she takes a liking to this old ship and for a hobby, she spends her days gathering parts to get it back up and running in hopes of getting off the planet.

I just wanted ROTJ again last weekend. I took special note of two scenes right before the battle of Endor. The first is when Han and Lando talk about Lando borrowing the Falcon for the attack on the Deathstar. Han expresses concern for the Falcon but says he wants Lando to use it because he know he needs it. Lando promises to bring it back without a scratch. The next scene is when Han first starts up the stolen imperial shuttle. He looks up and stares out at the Falcon, Leia asks what's wrong and Han says: "I've got a feeling like I might not ever see her again".
These scenes were great on their own, but they would have even more weight if that was the last time Han saw the Falcon before TFA. Perhaps the Falcon is stolen by some imperial trying to get off of Endor while the gang is celebrating their victory. The end of the Film shows Lando and some other pilots were in the party. That could explain how it could ended up on an imperial ship that later on crashes on Jakku. It then gets salvaged from the downed cruiser and eventually repaired enough to be used in TFA. This could also add to the back-and-forth about the ship between Han and Lando.
I'm not saying the film will go this route, I know there is a rumored scene where Kylo sits in the cockpit and "has a moment", but if we're not going to be shown the Falcon actually getting lost then I'd rather it gets stolen then as opposed to it getting lost in some battle we don't get to see.

Yep in all actuality it is the last time that we know of Han seeing the Falcon.

That is the last time we see the Falcon and Han together.

    Good observation Turinsd00m.

Maybe this is our Falcon thief: Lieutenant Renz, who was the commanding officer of the Endor ground forces after Han dispatched his boss with a toolbox. He's the guy who coined the phrase: "You rebel scum", and he is shown getting captured thanks to Han's trick reinforcement call disguised as an AT-ST Walker Pilot. He would love to get back at Han by breaking free and stealing his ship. After all, the Emporer did say that "his best troops" where on Endor protecting the generator. I hope some of them are capable of doing more than getting their butts kicked by Ewoks.

Maybe he is who MVS plays... an old imperial agent that most casual fans would not recognize.

This is slight necro-posting on my part I guess but being as the thread has been ressurected...

Smuggler's Run and Aftermath establish Han still has the Falcon post Endor. In the case of Smugglers Run I'm assuming the epilogue is set shortly before TFA as Han is referred to as an 'old man'. This suggests that Han and Chewie haven't been without the falcon for too long before TFA. I guess it could be a year or two but certainly not decades.

It appears the Falcon's hyperdrive is functioning properly.

She's still "got it where it counts kid."

So, the hill shot with Finn in the trailer - can anyone see the falcon at the port? Isn't it suppose to be there for them to take?

Has it been there since the Battle of Jakku?
    Was it stolen?
Did Rey arrive on Jakku in the Millenium Falcon or was she born on Jakku?

    Thoughts?

Mav Edit: Merging this thread with the Falcon thread.
