ST Millennium Falcon in E7

I have a notion, and it all speculation, that Han left The Falcon on Jakku for his daughter Rey. She's know where it has been for the last 10 years and that's where she and BB8 are walking towards in that shot on the dune. They are off to get the Falcon and reunited with her parents.

I love every Falcon shot we have seen so far. very happy to see that the director gives a special care for Falcon.

I love the Falcon as much as the BIG THREE. Didn't JJ specifically say there is nothing normal about shooting a scene on the FALCON.

MF survives all 3 films. I tear up literally at the Falcon shots in the trailers.

How about this as a theory.

Rey has been hidden on Jakku in the same way that Luke was hidden on Tatooine. The Falcon has been left there, also hidden, in case she is discovered and has to flee. The Falcon's nav computer has been pre programmed to take her to a specific place where Han and Chewie are. Maybe they are already there or maybe they pick up an automated signal from the Falcon and meet Rey and Finn at the destination.

 

Rey has been there for fourteen years.

 

They don't seem to be doing much new with the Falcon. He is just a super-fast super-ship again like in ROTJ. I kinda would have preferred him more broken down than even in Empire, like maybe very slow and embarrassing. A real hunk of junk. Or serving as a cool-looking monument on Republic Plaza.

How come he is not completely outdated in episode 7? Technology marches on as they say.

Sorry, it's because "Falke" is male in german so I call it "he".

 

I so hope that the crash landing in the new International trailer is not the end of the Falcon.

The Falcon is as much part of SW as the OT Big 3 are.

 

Navy terminology; crews refer to their own ship as a woman "she". Friendly ships as males "he", and enemy ships as "its".

Don't worry, the Falcon can be rebuilt without it looking like Frankenstine's monster. Only way for it to totally die is to fall into an active volcano and melt.

 

By the footage we have seen so far we can easily assume this film will be the best the Falcon has looked in all the saga. She will fly beautifully.
