A sweep in SF - not a shock. A four-game sweep in St. Louis on the heels - with comeback wins? Wow. I'm going to the game tomorrow night.
I love listening to the post game show here in Milwaukee with all of this going on. This is an amazing time in Milwaukee.
Take another deep breath and move forward. That was a fun game to watch. Thanks MLB on Cable free week. Great team effort, with clutch hitting in the end. Seeing more Brewers gear pop up here in Portland, Oregon. Go Brewers!
Well not a great weekend for the Brewers but here we go. 4 game series vs the Cubs at home starting tonight. Hope we fair well. Starting with CC, Sheets, Parra, and then Bush. 3 out of 4 would be nice. Go Brewers.
I gotta ask how much longer can we put up with this from Weeks. This is a game we should of won and didn't and that's the most frustrating aspect.
If Ray Durham doesn't get the start tomorrow I'm gonna be pissed. Also, very disturbing seeing the amount of Cubs fans again. Even some behind the plate. The Brewers season ticket holders who sold their tickets for those seats should be ashamed of themselves for being sellouts. I know, I know, I live in Milwaukee, so why wasn't I there? Because I don't feel like paying 40+ bucks for a terrace ticket when I can normally get one for any other game for 5. That, and I put up with enough crap from Cubs fans who go to the games where we aren't even playing the Cubs.
Well I guess we move forward and get Sheets to pitch a gem tonight. Durham should get the start after Rickeys poor performance.
It's good to see some things never change, and that CC Sabathia still struggles against leadoff hitters with power. But you guys seriously should start to watch his pitch counts closer. Do you remember what happened to him last October? I know you want to get there first, but don't you want to do something when you get there?
Well, we bounced back from the fight and got a win last night. Hopefully Parra will use that energy and bounce back in his next start. Fielder hit a dinger last night so we just need to keep winning. I still believe that we can win the NL central.
I'm not a believer anymore for winning the division. As much as it pains my side to say it, the Cubs are good. If they don't get the wild card, Ned Yost will need police escort out of Milwaukee forever.
Sabathia is now 6-0 with 4 CG and 2 Shutouts since coming to the NL. He lowered his ERA with the Brewers to 1.58 with his shutout of Washington tonight. CC and Prince Fielder did the post-game interview together. I knew CC was a big guy, but standing next to Fielder... he makes Prince look small.
A sweet sweep of the Nationals and now we're off to San Diego against the struggling Padres. This could be good.
Much needed win last night. Sure would be nice to pull a victory out today. Braun got back in the game last night. Hopefully will start and give offense a boost.
Right now, I'm not at all concerned about catching the Cubs, just staying in front of the Cardinals. With six of the last 9/10 games against the Cubs, that will take of itself. Brewers should get the wild card first, then worry about the division.
Holy Crap, what a game! I take back some of the bad things I've said about Mota. Bases loaded, nobody out, in the 12th and he pitches out of it. Then J.J. on J.J. Hardy bobblehead day, the GW hit. Brewers are 21 games over .500. Twenty One. 76-55. 19 games better then they were at this point last year. Bring on the Cardinals.
