To quote Ned Yost and Prince Fielder, "it is what it is."

I hope they make t-shirts. The 2008 Milwaukee Brewers: it is what it is.

There's still a slim hope to hold on to. While the brewers are playing the next five games against the Reds and Pirates, the Mets will be playing the Cubs for four games. And then when the Mets play a tough series against the Marlins, the Brewers will play a series against a Cubs team that will be mainly concerned with setting up for the playoffs. But, if they can't do any better then last night, it is over. But, there's still a slim thread.

I feel bad for Sabathia. He's the only guy on this team busting his ass. I wish him well wherever he goes next year.

I just think it's hysterical that both pitchers involved in the decision are wearing Reds caps:

I feel so dirty cheering on the Cubs against the Mets. I'm gonna take a shower.

Hey, they actually won. It seems like every time I cheer for the Cubs to win and help the Brewers they lose. So, we got one down. And picked up a half game. Bring on the Pirates.

I regret not going to Miller Park tonight. This might be the spark this team needs for one final push.

I couldn't help but laugh when I heard Prince say "it is what it is" in his post game interview.

What a job by C.C. tonight. The man is awesome. That was a clutch pitching performance tonight.

The magic number is 5. ;)

I hate rooting for the Cubs. Now the Brewers need to just win out. They need no help.

But, it would be nice if C.C. doesn't have to pitch on Sunday. So, go Cubs for one more game, then go Marlins.

I was one of the lucky few who benefited from the 5,000 free tickets courtesy of Eric Gagne. That was really cool that he did that. :)

Man, I'm so happy I was there tonight. The parking lot was a huge party afterwards.

    Bring on those ****ing Cubs.

I lost my voice somewhat from that game. I think me and my buddies yelled for 10 min straight last night. Come on Brewers we can do it.

How on earth did the Cubbies only get one off Jeff Saladoff? And I must say, the Mets are certainly helping out the Brewer's cause.

Brewers' magic number is now down to two.

A win tomorrow, and you're guaranteed to play at least an extra game. A win and a Mets loss, and you get into the playoffs and get to save CC to pitch game one of the playoffs against Philly.

IIRC, CC didn't pitch against the Phillies in that last series.
