i'm basing my vote on The Emperor's Theme and the music during the final duel between Vader and Luke. very emotional stuff

ESB. Imperial March is just a tiny notch better than the music during the Throne Room scenes

No surprise there. I wonder what would've won had Star Wars scores not been a part of the tournament.

 

Well, the consolation round would be E.T. vs. Raiders of the Lost Ark. I'm guessing that the result of a non-Star Wars tournament would have had one of these two as the winner. Great mini-tournament! Congrats to Empire Strikes Back.

 

Well actually, not necessarily. You've got to factor in the great scores that otherwise may have won, but came up against ESB or similar in an earlier round.

But yay for ESB winning!
