Evan, IN Miniatures Battle Report

Background: As one of the most notorious spicers in the galaxy, Bubba the Hutt has made many enemies throughout the galaxy. He has only recently arrived on Gotal Prime to finalize a trade with Rubba Dubba the Hutt, when he discovers that there are several groups of people trying to kill him. Bubba fled to the nearest docking bay on his floater with his gang of guards and a case of spice in tow.

Game: As Bubba entered the docking bay he was immediately assaulted by numerous groups all wanting him dead: a gang of bounty hunters led by the infamous jawa, R'kik D'nek; the local Imperial garrison; and a clan of PO'd Wookies out for blood. During the battle, Bubba's floater was quickly brought to the ground through a huge barrage of blaster fire. Bubba crawled out of the floater and even tried to charge a waiting bounty hunter, but was shot and injured in the charge and then knocked unconsious. The death blow was ultimately delivered by a Wookie with a vibro-ax in a gruesome scene far too graphic for the PG world of Star Wars. The Wookies then escaped on Bubba's ship and were named the ultimate winners. Although many died in the flight to escape, three of Bubba's guards escaped through the North gate with the load of spice, which they will resell on the Black Market. Unfortunately for the families of the guards, Bubba has death marks issued for the families of his body guards in the event he is ever killed. Overall, there was much mayhem and destruction, including lots of Storm Troopers who couldn't hit he broad side of a Sand-Crawler; especially the loser in the AT-PT.

Action highlights: One scene where Bubba used the flamethrower on one of the Wookies and hit, sending a ball of fire at the walking carpet, however, the damage was zero son the large burst of fire only singed a few hairs. Later, one of the Wookies jumped two bounty hunters from behind and just needed to roll anything but a one to create certain death. A one was rolled and the Wookie was pummeled unconscious by the two Quarren. One final scene of interest was when two Wookies charged a single security droid, but bombed their attacks and were unable to pull the droid's arms out of its sockets.

Did I miss any other highlights? Anyway, thanks to all who played: Cole, Dave, Katie, and Rick. Great job!!!! Hope to have another adventure in a few weeks....

 

The battle was great and I know Rick and I are VERY interested in doing it again.
