What the heck, I'll give this a shot. Is number 24 Saga still open?
24 is open for Elan Sel’Sabagno.
I can't wait for someone to choose number 41!
Love this idea. I'll take # 58 and hope that it sparks some inspiration.
Now I am curious. Could it be somebody more minor than Thann Mithric?
May Valarian inspire you.
Could I have 14 please? Thanks
Yes, you may. Frix is the minor character you chose.
Valarian- is that supposed to be a female crime lord of some sort ?
Yep, a female Whiphid crimelord.
Okay, I admit that I don't get over here much, but when I glanced in and saw the subject "Minor Roulette" right near the top, I got a somewhat different idea of what the thread would be.
Just curious, what did you think it was about?
I first stopped by because I thought you were gambling off underaged children. Imagine my disappointment...
"Congratulations! You won a four-year-old!"
I knew, really, that it wasn't this, but that was what popped into my head. My first realistic thought was that it would be a story roulette with child characters.
Hehe, sorry for the confusion. There is potential for at least one child story... I had put Shmi in the "Before the Saga" era.
Good thing I didn't get Shmi. I have a really twisted story idea about the conception of young Skywalker.
Can I have 25?
Well, for Shmi, I put in young Shmi, under 20 which would mean long before she conceived Anakin... unless she had a ten year pregnancy LOL Oh, and feel free to write that story. I'd love to read it... I'm twisted.
I can't wait to see what you'll do with this one, my master: Owen Kenobi.
I am doing NaNo, so I don't have time for a Shmi story.
And who the hell is Owen Kenobi? Are you making these things up? I guess I should go look it up before some Owen Kenobi fan flames me.
Do you mean Owen Lars or Owen Kenobi as in back in the days of the ROTS novelization, it mentioned that Owen was Obi-Wan's brother?
Seriously, I am not making this up. Owen Kenobi is Ben's brother, not Owen Lars.
Really, it's on Wookieepedia.
I'll take pity on you: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Owen_Kenobi
He gets one brief mention in one Jedi Apprentice book. That's it. You can't get much more minor than that.
There is also a bit in Obi-Wan Kenobi's Wookieepedia entry about him: Obi-Wan Kenobi was born in 57 BBY, the first son of a moderately wealthy family, and was taken to Coruscant to begin his Jedi training shortly thereafter. His homeworld was Stewjon, from which Kenobi had vague, pleasant memories of playing with his brother, Owen, in a green, grassy area. It is recorded that Kenobi might have occasionally visited Owen and the rest of the Kenobi family later in his life.[source?]
Oh, you can get more minor than that. Trust me.
I'm done with mine: Rethink and Reflect
I put a link in the first post of this thread.
Of course you can get more minor than that. I write the Valley Girl Jedi who shows up in half a page of a Timothy Zahn book and the General who shows up for ten minutes of Empire Strikes Back. I also write Breha, who appears for ten seconds and doesn't actually have lines...
