Mirax Terrik Horn Fan Club

This thread is being started in response to some requests in the Corran Horn Fan Club thread. I said in that thread that I would search for the Mirax club I knew existed. Since it has completely disappeared from the boards (but not from my memory), I have decided to restart it. So if anyone wants to discuss Mirax, wife of Corran, daughter of Booster, mother of Valin and Jysella, and captain of the Errant Venture and awesome character in her own right, please do so right here.

Most likely Mirax. Or maybe Corran's bediside manners ? It matters not, new thread, new topic!! How about we talk about her mean Ryshcate that she bakes?

Hey, what a great idea! I love Mirax; she is the coolest non-Jedi character in SW besides Han Solo, IMO. Count me in on the club!

So, what is everyone's favorite thing about Mirax?

I like her because she is independent and smart.

 

Her dad Booster and the relationship between Corran and him...

I think she's smart and resorceful.

 

She is smart, and she has a wicked sense of humour without being mean.

 

I don't know much about Mirax, but from what little I read of her in I,Jedi, I liked her

 

I dont know a lot about Mirax but Corran is cool and what ive read about her in I'Jedi and NJO I liked her, So I'll join

 

I liked everything about Mirax, from the first time I read about her in Rogue Squadron, love at first read...sigh... Corran and Mirax, two of my favorite characters!!!!

 

I like Mirax. I think she is super cool. Can I join?

Hmm . . . confusing. In one of those, she looks Hispanic, and in the other one, she looks Asian! Those don't even really look like the same person!

 

Actually, Mike Stackpole himself said that Mirax looks like

But tell that to the comic artists! Some of them can't even make Luke and Leia look like Mark and Carrie. [face_rolleyes]

Yeah, join us, Shay_Durron! Besides, Mirax is also a smuggler & daughter of a smuggler, that fits well with a renegade.

 

I can go along with Mike Stackpole's vision of her. I like her sexy but not too exotic. A friend and I have been trying to come up with a fanfiction about her but life and its obligations keep interfering. For now, I will settle for joining you all on this board.

Wow, it's been a while since I have been in here...but I love the pictures of Mirax in Union. The one at the spa makes her look so cute.

I just re-read I, Jedi yesterday, and Mirax has now replaced Mara once-and-for-all as my favorite female EU character.

Mirax and Corran make an even better couple than Han and Leia and Luke and Mara.
I love how when the writer is having Corran talk about Mirax, and describe her, you can picture how beautiful she is. Plus, she's strong and independent, but also loving.
