I'll get this ball rolling, hopefully. Ok, we all know that Booster was arrested by Hal and sent to Kessel. We also know that Booster helped Wedge get himself back on his feet after his parents were killed. The things I am trying to figure out: how many years before Booster was caught did the Gus Treta incident happen? And how old was Mirax when her father was arrested?

See, this does have to do with Mirax. I know she took over her father's business when he went to Kessel, but she also says her father missed her turning from a girl into a woman and that's why Booster treats her like a little girl sometimes. So I've been trying to figure out a timeline here, but these are a couple of gaps I have. Doesn't help that it has been said that Wedge was both 15 and 17 when his parents were killed.

I always thought Mirax was around 16 or 17 when her father was sent to Kessel. Now if I could only remember where I read that...!

I heard that Mirrax was about 15 or 16 too. The age when Wedge joined the rebellion changes too. He is only 16 in the New Hope novel but is Luke's age later. Figure that.

I really like Mirax, not quite as much as Mara, but still, she's one of my favorite characters in Star Wars!

Is there a reason you want me to post in the Borsk Fey'lya fan club? I don't particularly care for Borsk (understatement), so don't go there normally.

 

Mirax is a year or two younger than Wedge, right?

And when, in accordance to, lets say, A New Hope, was Booster caught?

 

Well, Rogue Squadron takes place a few years after Return of the Jedi and Booster had already been out of five years in Kessel for a period that Mirrax had not really seen him in his "retirement". She was surprised to see him in the Bacta War book.

That's one of the problems I've been having. Not even sure how long Booster had been at Kessel in ANH. I get the impression he was still in Kessel during Side Trip, which is immediately before Derra IV. For some reason, I think that Hal was killed not too long after Side Trip, and somehow I think he got out somewhere around this time, too, around ESB. But I'm not sure. *sigh*

As for Borsk, I could go on about what I don't like about Borsk, but I don't think this is the proper forum. And I didn't go to that thread out of respect for those who actually have found something in him to like.

 

After the his "heroic" death in the NJO, we have to give Borsk a little credit. Even when doing good, he has to stab in the back to do it. He is still one of my favorite people I love to hate.

 

Do you think he will go down in the annals of New Republic history as a hero or a villain? We know that our guys will beat the Vong in the end but I hope some of our favorite characters are still alive.

 

No thoughts, huh?

 

He will probably be thought a great martyr of the New Republic like all the Bothans, whatever their true role.

 

Come on Mirrax fans. I am working on a story for Mirrix and Mara. Keep posted.
