Sate Pestage is none of these guys, and was created for a scene from TESB that was later cut. You can still find the deleted scene on the Official Collector's Edition DVD. Still, some of these guys here do have names and backgrounds in the EU. Not all, but some, and none of them are that relevant in EU. Sate Pestage gets all the credit, even though he was just one cog.

I remember thinking for the longest time that all darksiders were Sith, and chalked up any indications otherwise (like not using the "Darth" title) to EU writers not having all the facts. It took forever to grasp the difference.
