This may explain why I haven't been online much the past two days, but the other day was the last day at that job and today was the first day at the gov't job. And all I can say is that I need a nap.

So much number crunching. So much paperwork. So much neck pain. :p I need a massage. :p

Well congratulations on the new job, even if it causes you neck pain! If I could be so lucky! :p

    Thanks, Kerryn. :)

Well, I know in time this won't seem like info over-load, but for now, MAN, I have a crap load to memorize... It can only get easier, though.

I'm definitely earning what I make, that's for sure.

new jobs are always really crazy at first. it just takes some time to learn the ropes and settle in. i'm sure you'll do great :)

but yeah, those first few days will leave your head spinning.

    Nice, April.

We've already talked about it, so I don't really know what to say, but:

    Good luck!

I felt inundated by new procedures when I started my job... but now the way I respond to my tasks has become almost robotic... I just kind of "zen" out. ;) I hope you reach that plateau soon (without boredom, of course!), April.

And speaking of work, I got to go home early today because the power in our entire office building went out. Woo hoo! :D
